Essence of Social Inclusiveness

This movie is a result of one of the group activities that everyone here at G-Cube takes up from time to time for various events organized every month. This time some members of the Graphic Team decided to make a 3-D movie with a unique concept and universal appeal.

The group started with initial brainstorming and finalized the concept. The concept was to evolve the human emotions to a higher level of sensitivity.

Here is a brief on what the movie wishes to communicate –

“We have used a butterfly (Stella) in the movie to show the power of emotional association. In this film, a human being (Joyee) is trying to play with a butterfly by capturing it. He is deriving lot of enjoyment, completely unaware of the agony of the butterfly. While playing, he keeps the butterfly in his pocket and it dies. Now, he realizes how much he has lost.

In spite of the short duration and his ignorant nastiness towards the butterfly, he had got attached to it. He is surprised with his own emotions. He could associate with this creature so quickly.

The last scene shows his self realization and ends in a contemplative mood. The Story carries a subtle message.

The crux is that human has a latent positive side- the sensitive side. Due to ignorance and insensitivity this potential remains latent. It is the duty of evolved-people in the society to sensitize others through their interactions (in various art forms and through mentoring). The subtlety of the message is that by sensitizing human we can bring about a permanent and sustainable “Social Transformation” that can lead to inclusive thinking for society and universe.
